I spent the first hours of 2010 huddling in the bottom of a bunk bed and hoping to jeebus that I wouldn't be dripped on my my brother's puke from the bed above me.
No, he didn't get drunk. He's only nine. We still don't know why he's sick. Probably just a bug. That or he ate too much.
Anyway, happy 2010 to you all. (I wonder what percentage of people say 'twenty-twelve' as opposed to 'two-thousand twelve.' Hmm.)
So. I wouldn't even be in this mess if we hadn't decided to traipse down to Indiana for the holidays. I suppose it's much less a decision as an expectation. We come down here all the time - South Bend, Indiana. Over half of the town is one huge ghetto.
Head count: We've got 26 people in the house at any given time, including my absolute loser of an uncle who's been living in my grandma's basement for three years. He turns 50 this year. Also present are two year old Levi, his pregnant mother, a "special needs" little girl who's really just a big brat. We've got Jack - a small, stressed out beagle, and Noonie (wtf?) a hyperactive, utterly annoying, boxer puppy (he's in that stage where he's just gone from being cute to being ugly and mean.)
Having this many people around means illness spreads like wildfire. Already, several kids are infected with athlete's foot. Plus that little thing with my brother. We're just waiting for everyone else to get it too.
I have one more day here. Wish me luck.

Hey guys, I haven't posted in a while, so here's a little blog entry. (Nobody reads this. Why am I addressing my non-audience as 'guys'?)
I'm feeling pretty motivated right now. I got my progress report this week and I have A's in every subject but Spanish (grrrr, Yabla......) This was my first half-quarter of high school, so I'm pretty happy. I'm feeling quite on top of things tonight - I set my iPod to alarm. 6:45. I get up too late. But it'll be nice to wake up to Owl City's 'Fireflies.' Most unoffensive song I could think of, since everything seems to make me mad in the morning. (I was gonna do Hollaback Boy, but then realized that the whole house would be able to hear it. Not such a great idea.)
I know that I haven't posted any slash in a long time, but I AM writing. A lot. I'm working on a fic that's actually really fun for me, which is pretty new for me. I have the whole thing planned out, and I want to get it done before the end of October. (This is soooo sad. It's only going to be like a 50 page fic, and it's gonna take me two months. I am such a slow writer. I am ashamed. *hangs head in humiliation*.) Anyway it's a Gabilliam vampire fic, and it's gonna be awesome. (Well, maybe not, but it'll be the longest thing I've ever put on here.) I'm also working on a project (which was originally called 100 Drabbles, but I decided that was too much...) so it is now 25 Drabbles. I'm about halfway done with that, so I'll put that ongabilliam soon.

Mmhmm, so I got the CD "The Black Parade" a while back and I just now got around to putting it on my iPod. Surprise, surprise in the form of a hidden track called "Blood." Now, I admire the band and their music but holy fuck is the song creepy. It's not creepy in a conventional way, either, and it probably had something to do with the fact that I was outside on an overcast fall day when I first heard it. Yeah. That's all I have to say for now.
(Except that everyone needs to go watch the music video for The Church Of Hot Addiction. Do it. Now.)

Gabe sighed heavily. His boyfriend could be such a drama queen. He'd be back, though. Always was.
So he waited. And waited. And waited.
And soon it was midnight and William still wasn't back.
Gabe was worriedly pacing around the tiny living room. What if William was gone for good? What if - Gabe surpressed a shudder - he'd gone back to Pete?
With that, Gabe grabbed his hoodie and strode determinedly out of the apartment complex. Somehow, he knew exactly where William would be.
And yeah, there he was. Sitting on that park bench. The one where'd they first met.
"Hey," whispered William, looking up at the older man, his eyes glistening with a few leftover tears in the moonlight,
"You really need to stop running off like that, Gabe grumbled as he scooped William up in his arms bridal style.
William said nothing, just buried his head in Gabe's chest.

So my computer contracted a deadly virus yesterday and it's pretty much out of commision for I don't know how long. (I'm on my parent's computer now) We're gonna try something that has a 50% chance of working, but if it doesn't, I have to wipe my entire hard drive.
Yeah, that means I won't be posting for a while. If I do end up having to wipe my drive, I'll lose stuff from 100 Drabbles, my vampire fic, I'm Just A Road..., and plenty of other stuff I haven't talked about yet on here.
So yeah I'm pretty sad...this also means no Gabilliam for who knows how long! :O

So so so today I got a haircut.....
I like it, it's layered with about 2 inches difference between the shortest and longest strips. I also got my bangs redone, they go at an angle down my face.
